Developping new ways to limit PPV spreading
Universitatea de Stiinte Agronomice si Medicina Veterinara Bucuresti (USAMV Bucuresti), Romania is one of the most important institutes involved in Plum pox virus (PPV) investigations in Romania. USAMV is conducting activities in horticulture, genetics and plant breeding in Prunus. The overall mission of USAMV partner in SharCo is to develop new ways to limit PPV spreading. USAMV is currently coordinating a national project funded by the Romanian Research of Excellence Program, related to PPV studies.
